Mercer Island Deck Expansion

Here is a deck with a huge drop to the uneven ground below. The original deck was half the size. The challenge was to create a level guardrail while the new and original decks did not line up. the solution was to fabricate custom-height posts all along the length of the deck, hiding the undulations of the deck which otherwise would have been translated to the top rail – very unsightly.
